Heatwave Blinds – Delivery & Shipping Policy

At Heatwave Blinds, we aim to get your orders to you safely, securely, and as quickly as possible. All our orders are dispatched using DPD Tracked Courier Services to ensure full visibility from our door to yours.

1. Processing & Lead Times

Standard Products: Orders for ready-made or accessory items are processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays).
Made-to-Measure Blinds: Because custom items are tailored to your exact measurements, manufacturing typically takes 3 to 7 business days before dispatch.

You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as your order is placed, followed by a dispatch notification once your blinds leave our workshop.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We ship exclusively within the United Kingdom via DPD.

3. Tracking Your Delivery

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your DPD Tracking Number and a direct link to track your parcel.

With DPD’s Predict service, you will also receive:

An email/SMS notification on the morning of delivery with a 1-hour delivery window.
Options to change the delivery day, leave with a neighbour, or divert to a local DPD Pickup Shop via the DPD app or tracking link.

4. Delivery Exclusions & Regional Surcharges

While we aim to deliver across the entire UK, deliveries to remote areas—including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands—may incur an extended delivery timeframe (typically 2 to 4 business days) and additional courier surcharges calculated at checkout.

5. Missing, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

Damaged in Transit: Please inspect your packaging upon arrival. If the box appears severely damaged, please sign for it as "Damaged" or refuse delivery, and contact us within 48 hours at help@heatwaveblinds.co.uk.
Delayed Parcels: While DPD boasts an excellent delivery record, occasional delays can happen during peak seasons or adverse weather. If your package has not arrived within 5 business days of dispatch, please reach out to us so we can trace it with DPD.
